Terms of Use (Draft)

This draft describes what Quorum's forms and sourcing service actually do, so counsel has a real starting point rather than a generic template.

What the service is

Quorum is a venue-sourcing service for small organizations — associations, nonprofits and small boards. We're free for the organization requesting an event; Quorum may earn a commission from venues booked through us. This draft does not attempt to state who the legal parties to any resulting venue contract are — that's for counsel to define.

Using the public forms

The forms on this site (event requests, venue applications, association enquiries, job applications) ask you to submit information about yourself or your organization that is true and yours to give. We automatically screen submissions for spam and abuse, and we may decline to act on a submission we believe is fraudulent, abusive, or not made in good faith.

No guarantee of a result

Submitting an event request does not guarantee we'll find a venue, that any specific venue will be available or willing to negotiate, or that a booking will happen on any particular terms. Submitting a venue application does not guarantee inclusion in our network or that any request will be routed to your property — a proposed rate or terms you submit are not agreed until a partner manager accepts them in writing.

What we don't do

  • We don't charge the requesting organization anything for sourcing.
  • We don't sign a venue contract on your behalf — you review and sign it yourself.
  • We don't guarantee response times beyond what we publish elsewhere on this site.
  • We don't provide legal advice; we tell you when to ask a lawyer.

Warranty disclaimers and limits on liability have not been written yet. They will be added before these terms are published, and until then nothing in this draft limits or waives any right you have by law.

Changes to these terms

Until this document is approved and published, treat any version of it, including this one, as non-binding and subject to change without notice.
