How it works, and how we're paid.

Free when you choose one of our venue options that fit your needs. Want a specific hotel instead? We’ll build a tailored package to set it up, organize it and negotiate with that hotel, quoted in writing before any work starts. Any commission a venue pays is shown to you beside its price. Here's everything that happens between your request and your event.

  1. Day 1

You tell us about your meeting.

Event type, dates and how flexible they are, headcount, city, budget and must-haves. About a minute.

  2. Day 1–2

    A planner gets in touch.

Within one business day, to ask anything we need. You talk to a real person, the same one throughout.

  3. Within 3 business days

    You get a shortlist.

Rooms that fit, with real group rates, minimums and attrition terms, and our honest note on each.

  4. When you choose

    We negotiate.

Rates, minimums, attrition and cancellation. We tell you what we asked for and what the venue agreed to.

  5. Before you sign

We read the contract with you.

Every clause that could cost you money, explained in plain English. You sign when you are ready.

The contract review

We read every contract before you sign it, and we'll explain attrition, cancellation and minimums in plain English.

Attrition
What you owe if fewer people come than you blocked rooms for.
Cancellation
What you owe if you cancel, and how it changes as the date gets closer.
Minimums
The food and beverage spend you're committing to, no matter what.

What we don't do

  • We don't charge your organization anything.
  • We don't sign contracts for you. You sign, once you understand them.
  • We don't share your details with a venue without asking you first.
  • We don't run the event on the day. We get you the right room on the right terms.
  • We don't give legal advice. We explain terms in plain English and tell you when to ask a lawyer.

How we're paid, in the open

  • Any commission a property would pay appears on the bid comparison itself, next to the price. Not in a footer, not behind a link. You see it before you choose, every time.
  • What we recommend: The two closest to everything you asked for, cheapest first.
  • Every commission rate appears on the comparison. Ranking has no access to commission data — an architectural decision with a build-failing test.
  • For whoever checks our work: RankingVenue has no commission field — the type system is the disclosure. A build-failing test guards that boundary.

Ready when you are. It takes about a minute.
